What service should we start with?
If you are unsure, start with an enquiry. A Cyber Health Check suits a starting point. A Cyber Gap Review & Roadmap suits a deeper review. Sensitive Data and Essential Eight reviews suit more specific needs.
Do you need access to our systems?
Sometimes. Access depends on the service and is agreed before work begins. Evidence may be provided through guided screen share, screenshots, exports or authorised access.
Should we send passwords or MFA codes?
No. Do not send passwords, MFA codes, recovery codes or credentials through the website form or ordinary email.
Will we receive a report?
Yes. Review services include clear findings, priorities and recommended next steps. Monthly services include summaries or tracker updates depending on the scope.
Do you fix the issues too?
Implementation Support Blocks can help move agreed actions forward after a review. Major migrations, emergency response and managed IT helpdesk work are not included unless separately agreed.
Is Essential Eight work certification?
No. The Essential Eight Readiness Check is a practical readiness review. It is not formal certification, accreditation or a guarantee of compliance.
Do you provide legal or privacy law advice?
No. Lateral Cyber can identify cyber risk and practical actions, but legal, privacy law and compliance sign off need to come from suitably qualified advisers.
Can support be monthly?
Yes. Cyber Admin Monthly, Workspace Security Monthly, Cyber Governance Monthly and Website & Cyber Care Monthly are designed to keep actions, access checks, website care and governance items visible over time.
Can you create or maintain a business website?
Yes. Secure Website Setup & Launch and Website & Cyber Care Monthly can be scoped separately. Website work is focused on simple business sites, forms, domain, SSL, Search Console and practical website care.
